Check out the author and book information for this year’s Battle of the Books. Even if you are not in the battles, you might enjoy these titles.

Battle of the books is fun. The titles are always a surprise.

Why specifically the authors and book information? Would it be more convenient if somebody asked you what book you were reading you could tell them the tile not the authors name and a string of numbers and letters?

The string of numbers and letters are web links for book trailers and teasers. Check them out. It’s always important to be aware of the author of a book. There are many books with the same title but different authors or titles that sound alike. Also, if you like a certain book, chances are that you would like others written by the same author. Knowing the author is important in locating it in a library.

I think instead of a bunch of links there should be the book title and author only

Ah, I will do that for future lists. Thank you for telling me. I think I did this because some of the Battle of the Books participants wanted to possibly order copies for themselves. It was a while ago, so I don’t remember all the details.
